Meeting Modern Emission Demands 
NOx (Nitrogen Oxides) are harmful pollutants with may cause serious implications to health and the environment. Modern diesel and petrol engines rely on accurate NOx detection to meet strict Euro 6 emissions standards, especially diesel vehicles which require a 80mg/km limit. Motaquip’s new sensor range plays a vital role in ensuring vehicles remain compliant with these regulations.

Intelligent Emission Control
NOx sensors monitor exhaust gas levels and relay data to the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. This information enables the precise regulation of AdBlue injection, converting harmful NOx emissions into nitrogen and water vapour which are two naturally occurring, harmless substances. In some vehicles, NOx Sensors are installed pre- and post-SCR catalyst to ensure optimal performance and emission control throughout the system.
